PCOC Clinical Leadership Workshop – Assessment and Response Framework 13th June 2024

Clinical leads, senior clinicians, Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration (PCOC)  Champions, PCOC trainers and educators of all disciplines.

Time: 09.30 – 16.10

Location: Seminar Room, Education Department, Milford Care Centre

Aim: The aim of this workshop is to enhance the knowledge of clinical leaders/PCOC champions to effectively use the assessment and response framework in routine care.  It will also help attendees to support and educate other healthcare professionals to use the PCOC assessment tools in routine practice.

• Refresher Assessment and Response Framework
• Key Strategies and Enabling Factors
• Education Resources Available
• Plan for Education in individual services
• Overview of Reports and palCentre session
• Audits, Case reviews and Quality Improvement (QI)Tools orientation
• Practical ideas to bring back: White boards, fast facts, key messages, handover narrative vs PCOC

5 CPD hours awarded in accordance with NMBI guidance.
