Access to healthcare literature to support evidence-based care and inform decision-making is essential to patient care. Healthcare literature can be accessed from specific databases, journals and websites.

The Library subscribes to a number of specialist healthcare journals.

The Library has access to Cinahl Plus, ClinicalSkills.net and UptoDate databases.

Patients and Residents

Fictional material can be lent to patients and residents in Milford Care Centre by the Mobile Library Service.

The Limerick City and County Public Library also visits the centre on a regular basis
