Library & Information Service
The Library supports the information, research and education needs in Milford Care Centre to enhance clinical practice, and evidence-nased decision-making. We endeavour to support professional education and research activities and evidence-based practice which leads to better patient care.
Who can use the Library?
The Library & Information service is available to all staff, students on placement, volunteers, bereavement support service and patients/residents/clients. Anyone else who wishes to visit the Library must make an appointment with the Librarian in advance.
Facilities
The Library is located on the First Floor in the Daycare Building in Milford Care Centre as part of the Education, Research and Quality Service. The following ae available:
SPSS statistical package, Nvivo and library databases are accessible on the library computers.
A study room and Wi-fi access
Photocopier: Library material may be photocopied subject to relevant copyright regulations.
