Raising Funds in the Workplace
There are so many ways in which you can raise funds where you work. This can lead to positive publicity for your company and make a difference. Fundraising activities organised by staff members are of significant benefit to us.
Organising events can inject some fun into the working day and it means that you can raise money without needing to give up too much time.
You can host a Coffee Morning in your office or canteen or sell Christmas Cards or Sunflowers on Sunflower Days in June. Why not dig out those runners, round up a few friends or colleagues and sign up for a marathon and join in the fun!
Sponsorship Opportunities
Milford Care Centre organises annual events and sporting activities. These professionally organised events generate positive brand awareness and can offer you a targeted way to reach a variety of key audiences. For instance you could sponsor a particular project within our coffee morning or our Annual 10km Walk/Run, there are lots of events and activities to choose from.
Volunteer with Us
There are so many ways you can help; corporate volunteering is a great opportunity for staff to volunteer together outside the work place and as part of team building efforts.
By giving just a little of your time there are so many different ways to help, for instance our Annual 10km Walk/Run, volunteering as a traffic steward for Light up a Memory night, or selling Sunflowers on the streets and in shopping centres on Sunflower Days.
Whether it’s fundraising with colleagues in your workplace, providing administrative support in our office or joining the vibrant volunteer team in Milford Care Centre, we’ll help you find the right opportunity to suit your interests and time commitments.

Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving, also known as Give as you Earn, is a highly effective, trouble free and simple method of donating to Milford Care Centre direct from your pay on a regular basis.
If your company runs a Give as you Earn scheme, you can request that you would like to donate to Milford Care Centre.
Matched Giving
Employees can apply to their company to top up their fundraising activity with Matched Giving. Companies may match funds raised euro for euro, or top up the amount to be donated to a higher level.
